Possibly Turgod-Lagman, who had soc, sac, tol, thaim and all customs in King Edward's time (page 327, antea), and Sonulf the priest, who then possessed a mansion in York, and, perhaps, land in Garton, and Grimston (par. Dunnington). What Sonulf held in Grimston, Nigel Fossard acquired before the date of the Survey. William de Perci and Ernwin the priest both claimed it, but the jurors knew not which of them ought to have it.

"Glunier" had a house in York (page 324, antea), and land in Badetorpes,' near the city (vide infra). The same name occurs in connection with more than a dozen places in the county.
