A Cure for ye Hiccup. Take 1 Drop of ye Chenical (sic) Oyl of Cinamon in a Lump of loaf Sugar, hold it in ye mouth till Dissolved & then let it be gently swallowed.

An Excellent Remedy for ye Palsy by Dr. Thomas. 1 ounce of Mustard Seed bruised, 1 ounce of Juniper Berries, 1 ounce of Horse Radish root Scraped. Infuse em in a Bottle of Mountain Wine. Drink a glass or 2 after Dinner. Swallowe a Spoon full of Mustard Seed now and then.
