What name is given to the continent which is situated in the Eastern Hemisphere?

Eastern Continent, or Old World. Why is it named the Old World?

Because it has been the longest inhabited by man.

What are we taught about the Eastern Continent?

That some of the most important events in the world's history took place there.

In what parts did some of the most remarkable of these events occur?

In those parts bordering on the Mediterranean Sea.

What name is given to the continent situated in the Western Hemisphere?
