First I bequeth my soull unto our lord Jħu Crist, my body to be buried in the Church or the Church yerd of Wodkirk. I gif and bequeth to my son Gilbert all my sylu' gold and plate to finde hym to cowrt, except xxxti crownys of gold which I bequeth unto my son Richard Topclif and all myn other goodis to bring me furthe and bere me to, with owt pompp or pride of this fals and disceyveable worlde and to be disposid emongst my wief and all myn other childre except my doghter Roos su'ne and my son pson Sir William. Also I will and bequeth to my wief all my landes and tenements that cam or fell to me after the deth of my father making no wast therin with the thred pte of all my purchasid Landes.
