ORDINATIO CANTARIE BEATE MARIE DE BYRKYNE.

In quodam cartulario in capella S'ce Will'm sup' pontem use in civitate Ebor vltimo Maij 1647.

Cujus titulus talis est

Liber siue Registrum memorandor' ciuitat' tangent' in hoc volumine irrotulator t'p'e Joh'is de Gisburne maioris d'ce civitatis incepte & facte ao r.r. Edwardi tertij post conquestu' Anglie quadragessimo quinto.

Sciant p' et fut' quod ego Joh'es Everingham dedi, concessi, et hac p' carta mei confirm' Deo et beate Marie et domino Ade Broun capell' perpetuo et eius successoribus in ecclesia de Birkyn, eborum diocesis divina celebrant' pro anima domini Roberti de Everingham quondam Rectoris ecclesie de Birkyn, et pro anima Ade de Everingham de Byrkyn, Joh'is de Everingham et Beatricis uxoris ejus et Lucie uxoris Ade Everingham de Birkyn, Thome de Everingham, rectoris eccl'ie de Birkin et animabus antecessorum et heredum meorum et omnium fidelium defunctorum unum messuagium et unam bovatam terre continentem novem acras terre, et unam prati parcellam bovate predicte cum pertinen' in Byrkyn.
