Formerly the residence of the Calveleys, the Booths, and the Wrights, is now used as a farm house and steward's residence. It is a black and white timber and plaster building, originally surrounded by a moat, of which three sides still exist, and situate about a quarter of a mile from the present Mottram Hall.
