(B.) An ESTATE in Westmoreland, Jamaica, marked (A.)

The Expences, on an average of the last four years, after deducting the Proceeds of the Rum, forms a charge on the Sugar crop of this es-
tate, of 145. 2d. per cwt. The Buildings have not required any expensive repairs, and there has been no purchase of Negroes, nor allowance
made for deterioration of capital, though in 1801 there were 345 Negroes on the Estate, and in 1806 only 301, the excess of deaths over
births being in that period 44. Nor is there any charge for interest made in the above Account. The Sugar sells higher than the average of
Estates in Westmoreland. Valuing this Estate moderately, the capital cannot be taken at less than £.50,0co sterling, as it was in 1801, with
345 Negroes; though it cost the Proprietor a great deal more.
