I search wanting explanations, but you never offer any. Thus your pages are little relief for my curiosity about ballad references (What means it that Jean Livingston "looked up to the Maiden" on the scaffold?). If your sources were OCR'd and easier to read, it would help, but your many mentions on google are mostly unsatisfactory. Footnotes would awajken great interest in your documents.
