The tables show that during the year, 167 brands of commercial fertilizers were submitted by manufacturers for registration in this State, and that of these 48.5 per cent. were complete fertilizers; 17.4 per cent. acid phosphates with potash; 5.9 per cent. bone meals; 1.8 per cent. dissolved bones, and 26.3 per cent. plain acid phosphates. The valuations required by the Fertilizer Law are all based upon the analysis and the following prices of materials: Add in all cases $2.50 to cover freight to an average shipping point and 20 per cent. on total amount, including freight, to cover agents' commission. This gives the relative commercial (retail) value as given in the table. As relative values, these figures are, of course, correct; all being calculated on the same basis. As absolute values they are as near right as the most reliable. information obtainable will enable us to make them. It is needless to say that no one is under any obligations to be governed by them.
