154 Minute Book, containing minutes of the Presbytery formed at Nottingham by the Revs. John Whitlock and William Reynolds, of St. Mary's, and William Whitchurch, of St. Peter-cum-St. Nicholas, in 1654-5,

The signatures are those of (among others), the incumbents of St. Mary's and St. Peter's (Rev. John Barrett), Nottingham, and of West Bridgford, Colwick, Wilford, Clifton, Beeston, Linby, Greasley, Selston, Rempstone, Keyworth and Widmerpool. The incumbents of Clifton, Selston, Keyworth and Widmerpool afterwards conformed, but the remainder were ejected from their livings by the Act of Uniformity, in 1662. Gilbert Millington was one of those who signed the death warrant of Charles I. William Richards was Mayor of Nottingham several times. He was one of those to whom the order for the demolition of Nottingham Castle was addressed.
