Comparative Value of the Public Funds,

Sherwing in which to Purchase to the greatest Advantage;

WITH THEIR RELATIVE VALUE IN LANDED ESTATES.

EXAMPLE-Supposing the price of 3 per Cent. Consols to be 60, then South Sea Stock-should

be 70-4 per Cents. 80.-and 5 per Cents. 100, and so on; but when any of the Funds are below this proportion, it is then advantageous to purchase in that Stock.

Ash-Wednesday, Good-Friday, Easter-Monday and Tuesday, Ascension-Day, Whit-Monday

and Tuesday.

N. B. At the Custom House, Stamp and Excise Offices, April 5, 23, May 29, July 19 and December 25, are the only Holidays kept. At the East India House, Good Friday and Christmas Day are the only Holidays kept.

Feb. 14, 19, March 1, April 10, 23, June 13, July 15, August 1, Sept. 14, 18, 29, Nov. 2, and 17, are also kept at the Exchequer.-Nov. 9 is kept as a Holiday at the Bank and South

Sea House.
